My three month anniversary was yesterday, down 62 pounds! Can't believe it! I had a really slow loss for about 6 weeks, but it seems to be a little more steady now. I'm holding my breath every day, for fear the sleeve will "quit working" even though I know it's me doing the work. But seriously, I am sort of shocked every time I get on the scale and see a loss! So happy I did this!

Sleeved 12/26, down 47 lbs, 0.6 more lbs to be in onederland. I've had ups and downs the past 4 weeks...very frustrating but this past week I've been on the down. Hoping it continues. Doctors appointment tomorrow morning, I would love to only have to move the bottom weight to 150 (on a non digital scale) instead of starting on the 200 weight. Fingers crossed and water bottle in hand I'm hoping to be a permanent resident of onederland starting tomorrow. Then on to the next goal...175 by June 1st. Wishing y'all loss and happiness.

I have a funny success story. Know the maxi dress night gowns at lane bryant? Well, I bought several of them last year because they are so comfortable around the house. Since losing weight, 61 pounds since surgery on Dec 3, they keep geeting longer and longer. My pants are getting longer because my booty is getting smaller. It's just cool to notice the little things like that. It speaks volumes in each individuals success along the way. Perhaps I should consider getting some new night gowns that aren't a tripping hazard, lol!

Hello Kat

As you know I am in retail as well, I was on my way in a hurry ,to answer managers call And I like to kill myself when I stepped on my skirt :) ....I have also had my shoes slid off a Couple of times as I was walking .

I never considered that my feet would get smaller. Clothing makes sense, but I keep having to buy shoes as my feet shrink. WTH?

Sleeved December 7, 2011. It's been harder after my appetite came back June 2012, the same day that I could start eating solid food again (double whammy) but have never gone up..just not down as fast as I would like

I am impressed that it took about six months for you to get your appetite back. i've had mine since about 1 month post-op. It doesn't mean that I could eat just anything, but it means that I would have cravings. That definitely complicates things. Since you are a year plus post op, how close are you to your goal now? Have you made it to a happy place weight-wise? I do realize that for some of us (probably me included), it will take more than a year to get off the weight I want.

Well, your weight pushes down on your foot spreading it out more in all directions. While it may not recover to a super small size, I am thinking less weight on your foot may mean that things are springing back the way they should leading to a smaller width/length.

12-20-2012 was my surgery date. I was 288 today I'm 226 :) I have lost 62 pounds , went from a size 3X to XL tops. 24 Wide to 18. My feet have also gotten smaller, I'm very happy about that because I have wide feet and can NEVER find shoes that fit only tennis shoes. My face look so much better ,my acne has cleared up allot. This surgery is amazing! This is the best thing I have ever done for my self :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
