S-L-O-W-L-Y but surely!

I am down 11 lbs. in 7 weeks which is a very slow loss but I am okay with it. I have not been the most perfect bandster. I am learning every day to be more compliant w/my band and now with my first fill (1.6 cc)compliance comes a little easier for me!

Just wanted to share. Thanks.

11 lbs in 7 weeks is NOT slow (let alone very slow)>...it is right on target.

1-2 lbs overall average per week is the target from the band makers.....so you are right there.

Plse don't call it slow.....because those that truly ARE losing slowly (ie. less than 1 lbs/week) then feel bad!

You are doin' great...don't knock it.

I agree with Yoda, you are doing very well. The band is not like other weight loss surgeries. It is designed for you to lose 1-2 pounds a week, so based on 11 pounds in 7 weeks, you are averaging 1.57 pounds per week, which is great. It is not slow at all and it is healthier to lose at that rate. I average between 1-2 per week and am thrilled with it.
