Sex after Surgery

Recommended Posts

I'm alittle worried about my sex drive. I'll be 4 weeks out on Thursday and my desire for sex is GONE! Is this normal? Anybody else experience this? Does the desire come back?

Most guys see a pretty good rise in their desire as the hormones are diluted less by decreased body mass. Women seem to feel more desire but as we all know EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.

Wait a few weeks then ask the doc. There is a lot of stuff going on and your rapid decrease in calories is bound to screw up your chemical balance for a while.

Thanks! I have my 4 week follow-up appt this week. I'll mention it and see what he says. I just don't want this to be permanent.

Ok now, I know how many times we all talked about sex. My Pcp is sending me to see a psychiatrist for my sex drive! That should be fun. I got one papi and he doesn't mind giving it to me multiple times a day and everyday so I am not sure why it is a problem. Will keep y'all updated with my appt. dang sex is awesome. I am 30, sexy and flexible so what's the harm?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
