Hey is there anyone out there who has had, or is going to have VSG at Kaiser Permanente Fremont Ca? I am new to the process, just want more info on this facilities preop VSG protocol.

I am not worried about the hospital because I used to work in the inpatient pharmacy, I am comfortable with the facility.

Things like how long did you have to wait start to finish, preop diet, preop tests, which surgeon did you have etc.

Yes. I was sleeved on March 12,2012 by Dr. Bogohssian. The process went relatively quick and I didn't really have any complaints. I wish that I could've had more help in regards to sports nutrition with the sleeve. No one seemed to have a clue and they still don't. Other than that- I am pleased.

Good luck!

Was that Kaiser Fremont, CA? There are 3 doctors there and Dr. Bogohssian isn't one of them.

Hi Pamelia! I'm also pre-op VSG in Fremont, but with Dr. Dennen :) I'm always up to chat with folks in my shoes, so feel free to message me.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
