Attention November Sleevers: Christmas Weight-Loss Challenge

Recommended Posts

Ok my November Sleevers!! I know there are a few challenges out there already, but I thought it would be nice to have one rocking for those of us that had our sleeves done in November. This way we track with people on a closer timeline with our own. Feel free to use it or not. Totally up to you. Hugs to you my November Sleeve family. Happy holidays and happy losing!!

December Challenge: ends on 12/25/12.

~ Surgery Date (SD): 11/20/12

~ Starting Weight (SW): 320

~ Current Weight (CW): 297

~ Goal Weight (GW): 275, with an ultimate goal of 270 cuz it would be a nice belated birthday present for myself (birthday is 12/21).

* Bonus: Inches Lost. Haven't measured myself yet. Was waiting for my 1 week follow-up on 11/28 to do that.

~ Goal Weight (GW): I'm gonna be ambitious (I'm not sure of its ambitious or not lol) and go got 315.

Looks like I'm gonna hit my Xmas goal by my birthday tomorrow. I weighed in at 271.8 this morning. My ultimate goal is 270 cuz I surpassed my initial Xmas goal of 275 a few days ago. So I'm down about 44 now since 11/20.

I would like to join this thread. I need encouragement. Surgery 11/20 and I'm down 23 lbs was down 25lbs until Christmas Day. Don't feel well due to eating foods I never would have touched! So today it's about ten am and I'm afraid to put anything in my mouth. Not sure where to start so as not to gain anymore. I welcome any ideas. Also since im off work I have no where to exercise. I would run the stairs each day. Return to work on the 3 rd of January . I would love to hear what to do to jump start my diet today. Also is anyone from Houston Conroe area? Would like to have a partner to exchange ideas and work with on our way down.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
