  7. Here's a pic. I am very happy about my changes but there's sooo many reminders of my fatness.
  8. It's hard regardless of she you start back up. I don't care how good you feel or look, it's hard to put yourself back out there. I've had my heart broken a couple times already but it is what it is. Got to keep on smiling!! I know I look and feel great, but those voices in all of our heads can and will get to us from time to time.

  12. Yes unfortunately. And I have gone for a plastics quote. It would be done in 2 parts. First ($14k) would be the tummy tuck and breast augmentation with mastopexy (implants and lift). The second surgery (also $14k) would by my arm and thigh lift. I look great in clothes. In fact I've been told on several occasions by various men and women (some friends or acquaintances but more by complete strangers) that I am smoking hot. Does wonders for the ego but deep down I think: Yeah ok. You haven't seen my flying squirrel impression. Lol. It is what it is. I will take the skin over the obesity any day. Don't worry though. To the right person it's not going to matter. They will see the effort behind your actions. Not the skin. *HUGS*
  13. That's very true. And wouldn't that hurt or bother any of us? We have all busted butt to lose weight and look good and feel good. While compliments have always made me uncomfortable. I still feel good inside when I get them.
  14. I am incredibly sorry for your loss.
  15. Had my surgery 11/20/12 and was 315 the day of surgery. Most people don't believe me because I am 6' tall. I carried my weight well, but at the end of the day I was morbidly obese. I did get down to my lowest of 175 but that was short lived. Insert a bad relationship, holidays and a breakup and you have an increase up to 185-190. I am over it. And it is waaaay too close to 200 for my taste. That allll being said. I need help from my fellow veterans. What are you all doing to get to target and maintain? I need some guidance and I'm not afraid to try new things. I had to stop Crossfit due to an injury that is finally appearing to have healed. I would dearly love to hear as much as I can from you guys. I may not post as much but I do read what you guys share. Oh by the way, I also am experiencing reactive hypoglycemia and I'm trying to address that as well. Thanks in advance!!!!!
  16. Thoughts and prayers, love and light sent to you. We are all here for you!!
  17. My sunrises here in Florida. Eat your heart out!!
  18. Around the Daytona Beach area myself. Love being 3.5 miles from the beach. I'd take this heat anytime over the snow any day. And my fella...also a fellow New Englander loves my town so he's planning on moving here too!!! Come on 2015!!! Let's get here already!!! Lol.
  19. I'm fortunate to work at a hospital so I just had my hemoglobin checked. My HGB was 14.5. I'm going Monday for a bigger gamut of lab tests for my 5/1 appointment with my primary. Not really sure what's going on but I did read about something that is making me think I am experiencing this. Reactive hypoglycemia. Happens in 15% of people that have some kind of stomach surgery. We shall see. I will post about what they say.
  20. I'm 15 months out and I get that all the time. I eat, drink etc. so I am going to get all of my blood work redone. I'm bruising very easy of late so I want to see if that's also at play with the dizziness and almost fainting spells.
  21. I'm not close but before and afters help no matter what the stats. Surgery date: 11/20/12 Weight: 315 Current weight:185
