111 pounds gone FOREVER! I am 10 pounds passed my original "goal"! I have NEVER felt so amazing & am so in love with the new me!

HOWEVER' date=' there is one VERY BIG problem-- I am now a SHOPAHOLIC hahaha! My hubby has decided to pull the purse strings a little tighter, because I seem to get carried away! This is coming from the girl who HATED, & I mean HATED to shop! I would get anxiety and usually cry in the dressing rooms! There was actually a few times that my husband would come into the dressing rooms to try to encourage me & keep me in good spirits- NOW, he refused to come shopping with me because I fall in love with everything I try on LOL! He says "i'm not needed for moral support anymore" & he is right! AHHH, what a FABULOUS year!

Start weight- 249.8

CURRENT- 139.0

Start BMI- 48.6

CURRENT- 27.1[/quote']

Omg sooo happy for you (tears) I'm scheduled for 11/29 and I'm terrified.... Not of commitment but of actual surgery/anesthesia... Any advise? I'm a 42 yr old mom/ nurse and I think it's all the "what if's" I am however looking forward to start a healthy happy active life..... U look amazing congratulations!!!

I exercise about 4 days a week for 2-3 hours a day! I was strict for the first 6 months, then slowly started to add "not very good" stuff, but only when I "needed" the taste! However, I eat healthy bout 97% of the time ;-)

OMG girl, you look great! You have a beautiful family and I could hardly believe your before and after pics! I bet your hubby is so proud! I see the results of everyone's weight loss, but this still seems like a dream that is unreal to me. After being overweight for so long, I can't imagine the possibility of fitting into smaller clothes. I guess I just look at pictures and hope for the best for myself, but in the back of my mind is the lingering thought that this too might fail. It's journey's like yours that gives me hope and keeps me pushing! I am so happy for you! As Dora says, "You Did It"!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
