Hi all! I'm three days post op...living in Texas but native to the Walled Lake/Wixom area (southwestern Oakland county). My heart...and most of my family...are still in Michigan. Happy to say that it's been pretty smooth so far. First 24 hours wasn't so much fun...nausea and gas interfered with taking in much of anything, but it's improved since then. :)

My question is, how did you all figure out the "pacing" of your intake so that you didn't overwhelm your sleeve, but take in the amounts you should be? This seems to be my biggest problem at the moment.

Hi! I'm doing great. Dr. Foote was amazing and St. Mary's was a great hospital. I didn't want to leave! Haha. Managing to get all my Water in and about 3 Protein supplements. Between that and meds and Vitamins I am constantly in a state of fullness!! How are you?

All good. Down 58. Happy with that. Still need to get in more exercise. Working 50-60 hr weeks & will be the same in Sept so finding it difficult to work it in.

My surgery was 8/29/13 by Dr. Katz from st johns providence in Southfield. No problems and the care I received was exceptional!! Went home the next day and my Dr called to make sure I was comfortable. Every person I came in contact with was superb!

Excellent facility...my youngest daughter was born at Providence 21 years ago this week. ;)
