I have been soooo cold. It's been really warm here (in the 80's) and I'm still chilly! It's driving my boyfriend crazy.

Theres another thread about being cold. I thought it was just me, but I'm realizing I'm not alone. Im alllllllways cold and now I have to sleep with layers of clothes. This seems to be a common thing after surgery

Me too! I am a chilly chick these days!

Has anyone stalled out in losing? I have completely stalled out and actually gained a pound. Very frustrating.

I've stalled..but I've read this is VERY COMMON. Do a search for '3 week stall' . Remember to keep up with your water and protein ...and stay off the scale lol

Let me clarify...you don't necessarily stall for 3 weeks lol, but the 3rd week after surgery many ppl report of stalling

I had 4 days with no scale movement, but it also coincided with my period, so it could have been that too. But this morning I had dropped 0.5kg.

But I've also found I have to force myself to eat the last couple of days. Nothing appeals and I'd rather eat nothing. Very peculiar ;) but I stick to my routine and eat every few hours anyway

I had mine done November 12th. Full liquid protein diet 2 weeks before and 3 weeks after. Monday, I started soft proteins, but can supplement with full protein as needed.

I have noticed that I am very sensitive to the cold! Has anyone else noticed this? I wonder if it's my body slowing down everything to conserve energy' date=' my weightloss has slowed down....[/quote']

I have this same problem...I read on another thread that our thermostat is thrown off after surgery and we may experience being cold all the time...some said it went away after a few months others said it didn't...

Just checking in....I started soft foods this week and so far so good! I definitely feel when I'm getting full and nothing has made me sick yet. I would say I've been a "slow" loser but my husband out together this collage and I can totally see a huge difference in my face so if anyone else is worried about slow losing, maybe try this for a little encouragement.

Hope everyone else is doing good!!!

I'm having coffee for the first time today....yes, it's caffeinated ....I'm a middle school teacher, its Friday, I'm dragging, the kids are going crazyyyyy!!!!! I hope I do t regret this later in the day.....has anyone drank coffee and had problems? And I'm down 18lbs as of today! I'm excited,,,,it's slow but the scale is moving and that's all I need it to do at this point :)

Hi everyone. I too am a Nov. 14th sleever. I had the pain my left shoulder right after surgery, but only for the first day. The doc said it was from the air they pumped in me during surgery. My biggest concern is that I was on liquids only for 2 wks. prior to surgery, and I lost 12 lbs., but it all came back after surgery, and today, I'm only down 13 lbs. - it was 3 wks. this past Wed. I know everyone is different, and it's really hard for me to get the fluid and protein all in every day. Maybe this is the reason I haven't lost more? I am walking everyday, and people are starting to notice the inches I've lost, but that scale is definitely not my friend.

Hello Everyone,

I had my surgery on November 12th. I am very glad I found this page. It's nice to know I'm not the only one dealing with these issues. I AM NOT ALONE!! LOL! Sometimes it's hard to hear the advice of people who actually have no clue what you are going through. I'm still having pain in my right side. It's not gas, it's kind of like I've been punched in the stomach. Is anyone else having this pain still? I have also stalled. I lost 18 pound in 9 days and then 2 in the last two weeks. Been really discouraged but I have not been eating enough or getting in enough liquids. I feel like I can do either or not both. I really don't like eating now. It seems like such a chore. I guess this is a good thing.
