Did nerves ever mess with your period?

YES!!! Extreme stress always leads to my period starting early. I'm from so cal...and I'm deathly terrified of earthquakes...anytime we would experience one...the extreme fear would always make me start my period Sent from my iPad using VST

Calling Kaiser Patients

Yes..options is mandatory. It takes a few weeks for the bariatric dept to contact you. Then you'll start the 12 week program. Word of advice. ..at times it may seem the classes are just another hoop to jump thru. ..but the information presented is IMPERATIVE for long term success. The classes really taught me so much and even though I'm almost a year out I STILL refer to my binder of in from kaiser...the surgery changes the anatomy of your stomach...the classes change your mind...and that's where the true battle lies

6. I hope and pray I don't get "cyber stoned" for what I'm about to say...I come in here often, but I don't post or respond as often as I used too. Matter of fact ill probably be deleting my account soon. For ME PERSONALLY...I find it hard to subscribe to the whole 5:2, pouch test, cottage cheese test and whatever other methods or "resetting" our sleeves. I'm almost 10 months out...down 140 (my ticker is not updated) and actually at my personal goal. For the past 5-6 months I've been closely following the weightloss journeys of 2 phenomenal women..JEANETTE COLANTONIO and NATASHA COLEMAN on FACEBOOK. These woman both were over 400 lbs and have lost and MAINTAINED over 250 lbs each without surgery. They both have been featured on talkshows, magazines, etc. But here's the thing...they are just like us! Tried and failed countless timed at fad diets, pills, other quack weightloss remedies. They are both wived and mothers with busy hectic lives. They are you...they are me....but they have REGULAR sized stomachs. They had no fancy tricks or secrets yo there weight loss...just clean eating, portion control and good ole fashion exercise. So when you start to get discouraged about your sleeve or "stalls"(I hate that word)...check out their facebook pages. I PERSONNALLY am convinced "resetting your sleeve" is not as effective as jusy staying the course being consistent with your eating and exercise. Once health becomes your main focus and not numbers on a scale...this lifestyle will become second nature and the scale WILL MOVE. :-)

Let's Check In November 2012 Sleevers!

Sleeved 11/14 sw: 337 current weight: 209 ...down 128 lbs.
8. I'm 5'10 ish....starting weight 337..current weight 209...sleeved 11/14/12. Down 128 lbs...size 12-14. I want to lose another 20 lbs and get to a size 10
9. I don't know if I'm the only one who gets EXTREMELY annoyed when reading complaints about alleged "stalls". *sigh* sometimes I feel empathy for folks but most times I feel extreme aggravation. Listen folks...we aren't gonna lose weight every day or every week for that matter. If that was the case we would lose 365 lbs in a year! This surgery was not intended to be a "quick fix". I personally don't believe in "stalls". Have I experienced weeks of no loss??? SURE! What did I do to "break my stall"? NOTHING!!! Im 8 month's out and still follow my doctors orders and exercise...REGULARLY. That's it...that's all! When the numbers don't move I don't give into fear...I simply "stay the course". I really get dissappointed when I read about folks being taking on an emotional roller coaster by the scale. If you are eating what you're suppose to be eating and exercising like you're suppose too...YOU WILL LOSE!!!! This is not a race...its a lifelong journey. Our main goal should be to optimize our health and live better lives..not chasing a number on a scale or a size. We have to have the mindsets of those who've lost weight and maintain healthy lifestyles without surgery! I hope I don't sound harsh or judgemental...that's not my intention. I just want to encourage those who are feeling down about the "sta lls" or "slow loss" not to give up! I send my "cyber love" to all of you!

12. Yes I know someone who did. Although the volume of our tummys is drastically smaller, a person can still continue a high calori diet.the person i know drinks alcohol excessively and eats high fat/calorie foods Sent from my iPad using VST
13. My post was not meant to insult anyonenor make them feel afraid to ask questions. People hit a "stall" and go into hysteria. My post was meant to ENCOURAGE. Im not annoyed by the topic or the people...the FEAR and DISAPPOINTMENT that people experience is sad to read about. I've read soooo many "stall buster" methods...and I wonder why some people go thru such extremes instead of just following their plans. We have to slowly change our thoughts from obtaining a certain number on the scale to just simply optimizing our health by eating right and exercising regularly. FOR ME PERSONALLY (just speaking of myself) my focus haa shifted to clean eating and challenging my body with regular exercise...I NO LONGER care if the scale doesn't move x amount of lbs in x amount of days. If the scale NEVER moves again...what am I going to change? Nothing! I'm eating right and working out so my body is still reaping benifits from my new lifestyle

16. I can totally relate to experiencing the fear of failure..many of us had this surgery as a result of failed weightloss attempts. I just hate to see folks so down on themselves. For the first time in life I'm aiming for health..and not a number. The results of a healthy Lifestyle is weightloss and maintenance

Husband Spying on Me

Nothing is wrong with masterbation. But there is something COMPLETELY wrong when a married woman must do so in secrecy...and there something completely DISTURBING with a married man sitting outside of the bedroom door pleasuring himself while spying on his wife. I'm sure his odd behavior has a lot to do with his Aspergers...but the whole "making synthetic drugs in the kitchen" thing is scary. Like others have said...there are clearly deep issues here. And your first concern should be the welfare of your child Sent from my iPad using VST
