  1. Im repeating week 4....and I finally feel completely competent to move on to week 5. Never in a million years could I have imagined running..,under any circumstances(unless I was being chased at gunpoint lol) but I am so proud of myself for challenging myself to do this!
  2. Yes it's normal...I had absolutely no problems keeping anything down. I was downing my protein shakes and any other liquid I could drink. You won't really feel true restriction until youre on solids.
  3. I completed week 4 tuesday...but I'm going to re do it. That last 5 min jog was tough and it wasn't until day 3 i completed it totally. So I'm hoping by doing it over for another week I'll build more stamina
  4. I have TONS of LB size 7 and 8 jeans and slacks...message me if interested. I have a variety of colors
  5. Down 70 lbs! Woo hoo...almost half way to goal :-) luckily im tall so my goal weight is 190 . I am so in love with myself and my new lifestyle. I truly see my body as a temple and I work harder than before to take care of it now.
  6. What's apple juice powder...and what isle do u find it on? Is it near all the other powdered drinks ...like crystal light?
  7. 12 is my goal size! I went from a 26 and now in an 18 :-) luckily in tall...so I "carry my weight" well. My goal weight (190) is as high as some folks starting weights lol ...but as long as I look good and feel good the numbers don't matter
  8. I've heard of the 5,10,15 rule ...no more than 5 grams of fat, 10 grams of sugar and 15 grams of carbs per meal
  9. I don't have a life...yet you have time to respond to me...LOL!!! (we can go back and forth all day..since I have no life and you must not either :-) And when I say "professionals" I mean medical professionals...no one should come on here seeking medical advice if they have a serious medical question.
  10. Speaking of catheters ....when I woke up and took my first trip to the restroom I was bleeding...so I called my nurse and told her that my catheter was causing me to bleed...her response: "you didn't have a catheter placed!" lol the bleeding was actually caused from the incision above my belly button..it hade slight reopened and the blood kinds leaked down to my lady parts lol!!!! Moral of story(if there is one lol) Not all surgeons require catheters
  11. I had my surgery performed at a bariatric center of excellence (Kaiser) and I didn't have a leak test either(besides the leak test they do during the operation). Like a few other posters stated the leak tests do not lessen the chances of a person developing a leak. I remember during my pre op classes they beat into our heads how they "staple and cauterize"..."staple and cauterize" ...seems like I heard that every week for 12 weeks lol...I guess that was their pitch to convincd ua that leaks are highly unlikely with their technique *shrugs shoulders* but I've have ZERO complications...down 61 lbs since including prepop..sleeve on 11/14
  12. And IF this or any other unbelievable event should happen to me(god forbid)...I WOULD NOT come here to seek advice. I would leave that to the professionals ...as the OP should
  13. I wasn't here to be useful of offer advice...I was simply stating my OPINION...which I'm entitled too(and so is everyone else) :-) thankyou very much
  14. My surgeon said not to consume more than 80. The body can't consume much more than that. I think I read the execs will be stored in your liver as fat. Some weight lifters consume high amounts of protein to bulk up. But for us sleeves 60-80 I what my surgeon and nutritionist advised
  15. I call BS on the OP original post. Point. Blank. To the Period! Lol I don't come here necessarily for support or to give it. I like to read other people accounts...follow their journeys. Sometimes I just like to be plain old nosey. But If this site is a persons ONLY source Of support, they are in for a rude awakening. That's like someone who is socially inept seeking moral support on facebook or twitter. Bottom line...don't come on Here expecting EVERYONE to play the violin while you tell your sad sob "story" and in this case...a lie
  16. I noticed her profile pic changed...I think it's showing the incisions(I'm on my iPad and can't view full profiles) BUT...I need to see the face in that shot to believe it. I'm not saying she has to PROVE she's telling the truth...but....well I guess I am saying that lol. Sent from my iPad using VST
  17. Ok ...I need to go to bed...but now this has me thinking. It's one thing to have a slow loss or possibly not lose...BUT ....to gain?!? Not just gain a little...but an average of 3lbs per week while exercising and dieting?!?!?! Uh uh...nope...not believing it...although for a second I was. Do you typically gain weight at that rate? The fact your "dr" referred to you stomach as a "pouch".. All this sounds unbelievable Sent from my iPad using VST
