  18. Sleeved 2/19, down 32lbs. Yesterday, I stood and looked at myself in the mirror and I cried. I cried because I can see the contours of cheek bones. I cried because I have one roll and not two stomach rolls. I cried because I have a range of clothes in my closet from 22-14 and the 18's are almost too big. I didn't even try 16 yet. I cried because I am worth it and to have a boyfriend who doesn't compliment me because he is scared of losing the fat woman has given me confidence.
  19. It hurts to swallow? That's not good.
  20. I had surgery on the 19th and with pre-op, I have lost 31-32lbs. You are able to eat bananas? I can't eat more than two bites of anything.
  21. Two weeks post op. Doctor switched me to soft mushy foods and fluids no problem. Mushy food...oh my tightness after 2 bites.
  22. I was sleeved on 2/19/13 and I am down 27lbs as well. It is possible to lose weight with hypothyroidism. )

  24. Sleeved...19 February Feel wonderful. Down 27lbs Already returned to work
  25. Mastiff_mama, I am headed to Sonic now. They have sugar free drinks? Yay?
  26. I have TMJ. No gum. I am not suppose to chew ice but for me....its better than gum.
  27. I didn't think about ice. Thanks for the tip. Yea, its not the food I miss. Its chewing. Thank you again.
  28. 8 days post op and I am not hungry but I realize I am losing my mind because I miss chewing. I don't miss food but chewing. Last night and a couple of other nights....I have taken bites of the dinner I made for my family and chewed until it was complete mush and went to the trash car and spit it out. Then I rinsed my mouth and brushed my teeth. I felt so much better. I didn't miss the food. I missed the actual chewing. Yes, it is consuming a few calories but I will take it for my sanity. Cheers
  29. Many probably disagree with this but I found I am not really wanting to swallow the food....so...I take a bite...chew and chew and then I spit it out in the trash. I know many will disagree but it help me at first and now I am fine.
  30. I feel deprived. But I have found so many ways to cope with head hunger.
