I am from Montreal, Quebec and I am doing my surgery in February 2013. I haven't decided my date yet because I was hoping to maybe find a Buddy since I would be going alone. I am 20 years old and I am 5'5'' and my weight is 277 Lbs. I will be doing my surgery in Mexico, Tijuana with doctor Garcias. So if anyone is interested in being my buddy and going together that would be very awesome.

You will love both he and hos wife. The three of us that had surg with him on 10-10-12, are doing great. He's very skilled and professional. I felt super safe and cared for. One of us got a bad cough and pains. She called and left him a message, and he called her back that day! My own Dr in the US won't do that. Feel secure in your decision, try.

I had my surgery with Dr Lopez on 10-10-12. I met two fabulous women that did too. We all met in the van when Abraham picked us up. You will all stay at the Marriott. It's super boring' date=' minimal TV, food is awful too. Bring some broth or cubes with you, also Crystal light packets!!!!!

I was alone, and so was another girl. We hit it off so well they let us room together in the hospital. The second day after your surgery you will be itching to get back to the hotel. After the first day at the hotel, you will be sooo over it, and ready to go home. We didn't hurt at all, just the gas pains.

But, there were four of us at Mi hospital, and we are own support group. We talk every single day, off and on all day long. You will fall in love with your sister sleevers!!( or brother) we were all women, and had so much in common.

Dr Lopez is wonderful! All of the Dr's there are. Go with your gut... No pun intended:)

They are both wonderful Dr's. I believe ready2bskinny had him. She is one of the four that had him, we three had Lopez and his wife.

I chose Dr. Garcia.. I honestly didn't research Dr. Lopez but I looked at quite a few others.

That's that's great it depends on when I get my Texas I usually have them by that time keep me posted and I'll keep you posted because I'm in Chicago so we're very close

I've finally narrowed it down to a definite date. I'm February 21, 2013 with Dr. Garcia. I'm 37 yrs old 5'1, 232#.
