Last Week Of November?

I am looking for a subgroup of sleevers who are having their surgery on the last week of November. In hopes of really being able to fine tune the support as it gets closer to our dates. Anyone interested?

I really hate this pre op diet of optifast. I'm miserable and hungry and feel weak ALL the time. It's 2 serv 3x a day which is like 960 cals. Who lives on that? I had the option of that or a low cal diet made by the surgeon. I tried the other diet first and did great on it but when I switched to optifast- it's been horrible. I switched because the doctors are leaning towards having all patients do optifast. I'm close- surgery is Wednesday and I wish it was done already. When I " cheat" and eat something- like eggs or a bite of salad I feel so much better! I wonder at this point if I should just do liquids mon tues and eat healthy rest of wknd?

My surgery date is 11/27. The closer it is the more excited/nervous I get. I've been in the Pre-Op diet since the 13th. I cancelled Thanksgiving so I wouldn't be tempted. Good luck to all you Nov sleevers!!!

That is was my date was going to be. But, it has been moved to Dec 6. All things happen for a reason. So I feel rally good about it.

I ate my meal but didin't enjoy it at all.

Talk to you before then.

luvurself,

Congratulations on your surgery , mine is the 29th. I agree the pre-op diet is not great, but soon hopefully we wont care. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love that puppy face!

I'm on the 20th' date=' getting close. Super excited and nervous![/quote']

How are you doing? I was on the 20th as well.

Wow it is creeping up! Getting excited and nervous. I feel totally ready but not ready. I can't explain it. Fell like I'm going to forget stuff.

I'm in the same boat.... the closer it gets the more excited and nervous I get. I'm finishing up the laundry and getting my bag ready to go.... will be heading out Tuesday night after bowling driving instead of flying to Eagle Pass Texas. btw , did you get signed back up for our After Thanksgiving group on yahoo?

My date is the 27th...and for a guy...my mind is spinning right now...nervous one second..perfectly cool the next...gotta stay tuff

On the 28th, I'm super excited/nervous :)

I never was able to get back into the yahoo account. I am doing something wrong. Oh well.

I pray all of us have a great week! Let's keep our eyes on the prize! MAybe that will help with the nerves. That's what I tell myself but it's not working. IM NERVOUS!

I'm nervous too.... pre op diet is going okay, have lost 8 lbs so far and still have 3 days to go. Good luck to everyone being sleeved this week and God bless

Good luck to all of you 11/27 sleevers!!!

My surgery was on the 20th. Right now I'm just make sure I get enough protein and walk enough. I have found that I'm hungrier than I thought I'd be. I'm thinking that will stop once I move to puréed foods. I guess that because the liquids are passing through the sleeve easily I can't keep full. Anyone else have issues with hunger?

Almost time to go to the OR! Excited to get this over with!

Good luck to all of you 11/27 sleevers!!!

Thanks!
