Hello to all the new November sleevers and welcome!!! I'm also a November sleever surgery date was November 30,2012. This was by far the best thing to happen to me!!! I'm 11 months out and down 97 lbs and lost 15 inches off my waist alone!! Some days will be hard and there will be times when you have buyers remorse, but believe me it will pass when you see the weight melting off. Hello my November family!!! Had a great NSV to share. I went shopping yesterday for a new wardrobe as a celebration gift to myself. I had never been to this store before and was looking for my size 12 jeans, well come to find out they go by your waist size.... I have went from a 45 inch waist to a 30 inch waist!!!! I do... Been told this happens when you either eat to fast, eat something your sleeve doesn't like or that it's a sign of dumping. It feels like hit flashes only magnified!! Very uncomfortable when it happens. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Definitely not, I love my sleeve and what it had allowed me to do!! My sleeve is just a tool and not a magic wand.... In order for this to work you have to put in the effort. I have lost 97 lbs in 11 months and couldn't be happier. Sent from my iPhone using VST

thank you!!! I have a second one on the way too, he's due in January . I know all about stalls!!! I've been in one for about 3 weeks now.... My doc is in Mexico , so I understand that too. Keep your chin up the scale will move again, 56 lbs in 9 months is amazing!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST

Hello everyone , I was sleeved on November 30 , 2012... Highest weight was 258.8 , day of surgery 248.8 and as of today 161.4. That puts me at 97 lbs loss total . Still not at goal but will get there hopefully soon. Been in a stall for about 2 weeks now.... Tried upping my Water and exercise, hopefully it works!! Sent from my iPhone using VST

A big shout out to all of you !!!! Haven't been on in awhile, things have been going great!!! Since I last posted on this thread I turned 41, became a grandmother to a beautiful granddaughter . I'm 11 months post-op , I've lost 97 lbs and am 15 lbs from goal. The first pic is me and my granddaughter taken last month. The second pic , on top is me 2 days post-op, bottom taken last month. Loving me and what my sleeve has done for me!!!

On another note.... Are any of you going to the patient reunion next month in Memphis??? Would be great to meet ya'll in person !!!

I agree !!! I hate hearing that I took the easy way out.... To me taking the easy way out is to do nothing to change your situation. I've put a lot of hard work into this new lifestyle . My sleeve is only a tool to " help " me better myself.
