You can eat bananas. They've always been on my list from the nutritionist and surgeon. There is a particular reason why some may not be able to have certain food' date=' but bananas aren't off limits.[/quote']

I think they're not allowed for the OP because she's taking Coumadin for clots.

Basic yoga will get rid of muscle tightness. Stand up straight and bend forward and put your hands on the ground on either side of your feet.

You can also do downward facing dog which is where you get into pushup position and then move your butt back and up so you are now in a jackknife. That will stretch your back, arms and legs.

My lack of banana is due to medication not the sleeve. Still a bummer I love bananas.

I'm on Coumadin as well and had no idea we couldn't eat bananas.

How long do you have to be on Coumadin?

Oh no :(

What happens when you eat bananas and your on coumadin?

Maybe call your physician to check in?

I will be on at least 6 months and anything high in Vitamin k makes your blood thicker and makes the Coumadin less effective. So its not forever just a bit.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
