I Have A Question About Going To The Bathroom

I hope this is in the right place. If not, please feel free to move it. I have not been doing #2 at all in about 3 days. That's not like me because I go every day. What can I take that is safe for my stomach to be able to go? I'm almost 2 weeks post op.

Thanks to whoever replies:))

I have to go to the other hospital now cause they didn't call my surgeon. Grrrr

Insist on a leak test for gods sake. You are being jacked around like I was. It nearly killed me. DON'T ASK!!! INSIST!!!!!

Iggy's right. Throw a fit, MAKE THEM LISTEN! Your life is worth it.

Came to sycomore hospital after atrium and they are admitting me!! Dr thinks its closed because I'm vomiting my own saliva.

Lol they are going to scope ???? finale

Lindsay, thank goodness you are finally being looked after!!! You have been put through so much.

Keep us posted on how you are doing!!

Your prayers are starting to be answered I found a dr that cares!!! I will keep you posted. God bless you guys!!!

God bless good Drs!!! I'm so glad you found one!!! I'm keeping you in my prayers, keep staying strong!

That's what it took to get me well Lindsey. I'm so glad you are in good hands. I was worried about you. I don't want anyone to suffer like I did. If I have to smack around every doctor in the US I would do it to see that it never happens to anyone else!

So happy to read that you are getting some help, I pray that this Dr. can find the source of the problem so you can feel better!

The dr again wanted to send me home and wait it out. I told him no. I want the scope. He said there is risk that I may get a perforation in the stomach or there is other risks too. I stood my ground! So he is going to do surgery tomorrow. Only problem is I will miss trick or treat with my kids this year.

What kind of surgery? What was his explanation and prognosis for you without the surgery?

I'm sending up constant prayers, thank u for keeping us updated!

Honey why don't you ask for a barium swallow test first? It's less invasive (it's basically a live xray where they watch fluid go through your body). IF there is a block it will show up in the swallow test and if there is a leak that will as well.....
