I go in tomorrow...I am feeling the same way...Best of Blessings to you!

I am right there with you! I will be going in at 6:30 Wednesday and hopefully in the OR at 8:30. This forum has been an amazing support tool for me. Youtube has helped too. It is so cool watching someone from week 1 postop to 1 year anniversary.

Best of luck to you all!! Very exciting week. Take care and have a smooth recovery.

Congrat's and I wish you two the best of luck. I still have 3 weeks and 1 day to go like Junior Guru and I can't wait to start my journey!

good luck to all of you & all the other NEWBIES to follow

your feelings are perfectly normal - been there done that

you will love your sleeve - best thing i ever did for myself

wishing you and everyone else a speedy recovery :)

Exciting!!! Honestly, I am a BIG baby. I was so nervous practically beside myself with fear. You are sore but really it was not that bad. I had 2 C-sections, and not as bad as that. The worst part is the first 2-3 days but you have drugs so it helps. I took a week off of work and returned to my desk job with no problems. The hardest part for me is getting the protein in the first week but after day 4 it got easier. I had slight nausea after but I never through up. I know everyone has a different recovery but as a whimp, I did good. I do have to say that this is a HUGE change in my life. It has been a little hard watching others eat and enjoying food. It has gotten to the point of tears a couple of times. Do I regret it??? Absolutely not. I have lost 20 pounds and my clothes are fitting soooo good. I just have to keep reminding myself what the goal is. Good luck!!

You are not alone... I too will get sleeved day after tomorrow... 10/17. I am excited but not scared. Maybe a little nervous.. for no reason. I love this forum as well. So many people to talk to that have already been there. It sure has helped ease my nervousness.

Good luck to you and I will keep you in my prayers along with all of us getting sleeved this week.... Let's getter done!

I'm the day after you guys, 10/18. Good luck to you all, see you on the losers bench! I can't wait to get there!!! :D

Praying for all of us!!! I know we are going to do absolutely fantastic!!!!!

Wow Blessings to you all!!! Bravery and strength!!! My husband will be counting down his 2 weeks starting the 18 th.

You will all be just fine, the biggest part of it all was making the decision to go through with it, the surgery is the easy part. Its the little things you will appreciate that will make this all worth while. I could only play with my children for 5 minutes at a time before, now they get tired before I do lol. We all have a story of why we were fat, everyone's is different but the day your life restart's is on that operating table. Take it from someone that was 408 and now 285. Diabetes-gone, high blood pressure-gone, lack of energy-gone. It will still take hard work on your part afterwards but it is all worth ever dollar spent...

Well said Exfatboy!

You go imlosingit and congrats/best wishes to all

High hopes for everyone on this thread. Good luck to all.
