Good Morning all. I have a lapband but researching a conversion to VS. A friend of mine is going to TJ to have a VS. I am here to support her and find others who are going at the same time. She will have Dr Fernando Garcia as a surgeon and today she will get a date. I am going to Mexico with her. I had plastic surgery done with Dr Carmina Cardenas and she does have a Bariatric surgeon on staff Dr Filipe Garcia. The reason my friend did not pick him is lack of information on here about him. He performed VS on Dr Cardenas and her assistant. Believe or not, they only had 20-30 pounds to loose. They did it for life maintenance. With that said, her sugery will be around first week of November

Don't worry we will have fun on a plane we alsways had fun hanging out. We will reminisce about the day I hugged a toilet lol. Once we get there we will stay at recivery house and get pampered

What's the going rate for the Lopez & Osuana? Which hospital? Are u in a hotel or recovery house? Just curious thanks Amy

Nursedel, the rate is $4,750 for BMI under 50, and not hernias to repair, if over 50 bmi, aor have anything extra to repair when they go in, I was told it would be additional $500. I will be at MI hospital, not a clinic. I will be staying at the Marriott hotel in TJ one night before, and then 2 nights after. I fly in the 2nd, surgery on the 3rd, release from Hospital on 5th, stay at hotel until I fly out on the 7th. PM me for any other details. I did a ton of research. When are you looking to get sleeved?
