My Introduction

Hi, my name is Ciara i am thinking abut getting the sleeve. Live in Indiana I recieve medicaid but am thinking of finding another source of insurance. i need the sleeve because I am overweight and a mother of five who has tried everything to loose weight. i recently joined curves and though I have been eating right and exercising and even eel great about myself i also have gained weight and am sore and hungry all the time for exercising and restrictive diets. i have spent thousands of dollars on gimmicks and programs, i have just come to the conclusion that I need surgical intervention. i know i have a long road ahead of me but at least there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Welcome Ciara! I can honestly say getting the sleeve has been one of the best decisions I have made. I am 20 lbs from goal in 7 1/2 months and feel fantastic! Best wishes for a speedy approval!

Hi Ciara!

Welcome!!!

Medicaid (in most states) does approve the sleeve as "medically necessary"... and you will be covered 100%... so don't think you need to look for something else; your pcp needs to present it properly...that's the key

Welcome! I too am going to be sleeved, same boat at you. Hoping for April 2013.

Welcome!!
