7 months Post Op and about to enter panic mode!
VSG Family I need help. I'm 7 months post op and to date I've lost 83 pounds from my highest weight of 426. I'm about 17 pounds from hitting my 100 pound weight loss and very happy but I fill like I'm going backwards. I'm feeling like I did prior to surgery that the weight will never come off. I need suggestions on how to get back on track. Has anyone post op felt this way and if so what did you do to break the back tracking? Sincerely, Felling like I'm failing Sent from my iPhone using VST

2 Months Post Op
I'm so happy right now!!! Today I'm 2 months post op and down 31 pounds from my last pre op visit on 1/22/13. Total weight loss is 58 pounds from my highest weight. I'm down 2 sizes and am feeling amazing! Attached is a before (taken this past summer) and after ( taken last night). For those that are still pre op hang in there it will all be worth it in the long run!!! xoxoxo Sent from my iPhone using VST

Im Cleared!
Everything will be fine! Just remember a few things 1) results may vary: not everyone loses at the same pace but we all lose 2) listen to your body: I've only dumped once since surgery and I knew when I was eating that I was eating too much too fast but I was just to excited to be eating real food 3) get grounded with good support: you need people in your corner because I probably could've gone thru this by myself but who would want to. We may not be blood related but we are related thru experience 4) trust and believe in yourself: you can do anything you put your mind to but you just have to believe it

Im Cleared!
My highest weight was 426 in January 2012 when I started considering the surgery - in January 22, 2013 I was 399, day of surgery 1/28/13 I was 387 and today I'm 369. So in all I've lost almost 60 but my clothes are fitting differently my moms says I'm losing inches faster than pounds which is fine with me because I know the pounds will come off.

Im Cleared!
Im 5 weeks out and I had my second follow up today and I've been cleared to resume normal activities and to be able to branch off and try different foods in moderation that is. I've only lost 1 pound in the last 2 weeks but I've dropped inches - even my surgeon noticed that ! I'm so excited and glad that I have the surgery. xoxoxo sleeve family
