  2. VSG Family I need help. I'm 7 months post op and to date I've lost 83 pounds from my highest weight of 426. I'm about 17 pounds from hitting my 100 pound weight loss and very happy but I fill like I'm going backwards. I'm feeling like I did prior to surgery that the weight will never come off. I need suggestions on how to get back on track. Has anyone post op felt this way and if so what did you do to break the back tracking? Sincerely, Felling like I'm failing Sent from my iPhone using VST

    Im Cleared!

Everything will be fine! Just remember a few things 1) results may vary: not everyone loses at the same pace but we all lose 2) listen to your body: I've only dumped once since surgery and I knew when I was eating that I was eating too much too fast but I was just to excited to be eating real food 3) get grounded with good support: you need people in your corner because I probably could've gone thru this by myself but who would want to. We may not be blood related but we are related thru experience 4) trust and believe in yourself: you can do anything you put your mind to but you just have to believe it
  12. Im 5 weeks out and I had my second follow up today and I've been cleared to resume normal activities and to be able to branch off and try different foods in moderation that is. I've only lost 1 pound in the last 2 weeks but I've dropped inches - even my surgeon noticed that ! I'm so excited and glad that I have the surgery. xoxoxo sleeve family

    Im Cleared!

My highest weight was 426 in January 2012 when I started considering the surgery - in January 22, 2013 I was 399, day of surgery 1/28/13 I was 387 and today I'm 369. So in all I've lost almost 60 but my clothes are fitting differently my moms says I'm losing inches faster than pounds which is fine with me because I know the pounds will come off.

    Worst day?

Congrats on your new journey! I was sleeved on the 28th of January and my worst day(s) were in the hospital. My back hurt so bad that I couldn't even complain about my stomach. The mixtures of pain meds and nausea meds had me throwing up like crazy until they stopped giving me liquid nausea meds and put the patch behind my ear. Then when I got home the first week trying to sleep was horrible trying to get comfortable but oddly enough the next week I started to feel so much better - little to no pain just mild discomfort. Now being about 3 weeks out I'm great. Still don't have my energy back all the way but I'm pushing myself to try to walk and move around more and more each day. You'll be great the pain will go away!!! Best wishes ????

Same 3 pounds what the heck!

Thanks everyone! I guess it's my stall time. As with anything else- this too shall pass!
  20. VSG family I need help/advice. I was sleeved on the 28th of January and from my last pre op visit on the 22nd until today I've gone from 399 to 368 which is good I know but every day for the last week and a half my weight ranges between 366 and 369. Am I in the 3 week stall or what? I met with my nutritionist yesterday because I'm not getting enough fluids in and that has to improve or I can make myself sick. I feel fine for the most part not in major pain just don't have to much energy. What can I do to get the scale to move?

    surgery jan 28

Hi family!! I was also sleeved on the 28th and to date I'm down 30 pounds from 1/22 to today! I weigh myself every morning and its crazy because I'm between 366 and 369 and I don't know why those same 3 pounds keep coming and going. I'm starting to think that I've lost all I'm ping to lose and that upsets me but I know that can't be possible so I try to let it go. I'm truly thankful for this site and all the words of encouragement. Good luck to each of you!!
