Cottage Cheese And ?

I see a lot of posts about protein in cottage cheese, so I bought some yesterday. I've always had in in a dessert, so I thought I'd try it plain, nastiest stuff I've ever tasted. How can you guys eat that stuff? What are you putting in it to make it taste good? Fruit? I'm type 2, so I limit my fruit to one banana in my morning shake.

I really wish I likes cottage cheese. It's one of the few foods I've alwys HATED. My ex used to eat it every night before bed and it used to make me sick lol. I've tasted it a few times recently and I admit it wasn't as awful as I remembered, but still not my fav- I think it's more a textural thin then anything. The curds weird me out but the actual taste I like. I put it in a blender once with some herbs and made a dip for veggies and it was DELISH so I'm convinced it's the texture. Maybe once I have surgery I'll change my mind on it lol

Would you use it as a dip for veggies' date=' or just eat it as yogurt?[/quote']

It makes a high Protein ranch dip. I make it a quart at a time. I also add a scoop of unflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury to it. Even the kids love it.

Going back to cottage cheese, if it's too watery, try to thicken it up with a bit of unflavored Unjury.

Cool. That sounds yummy. I was looking for something to snack on for the season premier of The Walking Dead. That show is a big deal in my house.
