How much did you lose during your pre-op diet?
We started out at about the same weight. The liquid days went by pretty fast but I had head hunger. I love my sleeve and have not regretted it one iota! \

I have to know, does the hunger/appetite REALLY disappear?
I am from Alabama and we call it pepper sauce. I just by a jar of sliced jalapenos that's perserved in vinegar and eat it on greens, pinto Beans and in chicken stew and Soups. I also love Frank's Hot Sauce on everything else...LOL! Corn bread soaks it all up well!

I get hungry! I usually eat something small every two or three hours. The first month or two I didn't but I get very hungry at times...I just eat something small and I am satisfied.

What was your Christmas meal like?
I don't measure anything except Cereal. I usually just put a teaspoon of what I am going to eat on my plate. I had turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, green Beans and whole wheat mac and cheese. I had about a teaspoon of each and only ate about half. I made a buffalo chicken ball and had some of it at dinner with a 3 small whole wheat crackers. I made a pumpkin cheesecake...made with stevia..it was awesome. I had about 3 teaspoons of it for desert. I also gave the leftovers to my kids to take home. I made a chocolate pie with real sugar (my kids favorite). I had a bite of it and sent it home with them. I love going out to eat and feeling full, taking the leftovers home and eating the for the next 2 meals! That my favorite thing about the sleeve is feeling satisfied after a few bites.

I am glad I had the sleeve...my sister had the RYX and had lots of complications...now she is gaining weight back. I love my sleeve. I am losing slow now but slow is better than not at all or gaining. I had a goal of 200 by Christmas but I won't hit it...but I am still losing during all the Holiday eating...so woot woot!!

Rapidly Gaining Weight 2 Years Post Op Sleeve Surgery
I try to measure and count out everything to stay on goal! I could eat small bad things all day but I have to keep reminding myself what I looked like and how great I feel now. It's not easy and never will be because I love food and I love to eat but I really LOVE being thinner. I still have a ways to go and I needed this post! Thanks!
