Recommended Posts

Tomorrow marks 2 weeks without any loss. I am post op 3 weeks. How did you know you were out of the stall? Was it drastic or gradual?

Ugh! I hate that for you! I didn't hit my first stall until 7 months post-op, so I can't really offer much advice to you other than to say that I'm a freak and pretty much EVERYONE else that I've ever talked to bemoaned the week-3 stall!

It's totally normal and I think duration is probably different for everyone. Don't panic! Just keep on focusing on Protein and fluids and you'll get through it!

Which stall? haha. Seriously though, first one was three weeks, second was a week. I'm 7.5weeks out. The drop after stall was drastic for the first one, slow for the second one. Hang in there, it happens to everyone! It will end eventually.

my first stall at 2 1/2 weeks lasted 10 days and I came out of it with my regular about a half pound a day drop. Second stall was at 6 weeks and I am in day 9 of it .... really not liking this monthly stall I have but not much you can do except keep doing the right things.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
