Body Fortress Advanced Whey Protein

Recommended Posts

Cost has always been an issue for me and even though I like some of the other brands, this brand is only $15 at Walmart for a tub. Two scoops = 52 g Protein so add skim milk to it and you have over 60 g of protein to one shake! It's not too bad either and has less than 4 g carbs and sugar.

Yes, I also buy the same one. Taste is great! Not lumpy or anything if u use a shaker cup. My only suggestion is that u do 1 scoop per serving as our body can really only handle 40gms of protein at a time, the rest gets wasted (according to my NUT) ???? they do come in like 4-5 flavors

I haven tried it yet. I did check it out on Walmart.com. They have a value pack for 39.00 for three containers. You get to mix and match flavors. Maybe I will go to the store and try first before I buy 3. Sound like a great value if it's the brand you like.

This is what I have been using lately as well. I mix the vanilla with greek yogurt, cinnamon, almond milk and a banana and it is super yummy. I just use one scoop at a time.

The plain chocolate is my favorite, the chocolate Peanut Butter isn't as good, but it's not as bad as many other ones I've tried. I do them with a couple of ice cubes and a little milk in the magic bullet. One scoop is definitely enough!

Body fortress has at least two different whey Protein shakes... Look for the one that says isolate it has only 2 carbs as opposed to 8 in the whey protein concentrate

I like the Cookies and cream...I'm a milk fanatic so I put one scoop to like 10 oz and drink on it...I like of a little diluted with milk...

I would suggest only using one scoop since your body cannot absorb that much protein in one sitting.

True...I never can drink all that in one sitting...but if you drink it throughout the day, you'll be sure to meet your Protein intake!

Is this the stuff? If yes, then you are golden.

I really like seeing "Whey Protein Isolate" right up top. And no mention of garbage like collagen or Gelatin.

Do keep in mind that 52g is more than your body can use at a time though. Stick to the single scoop servings. 26grams is about the max you can absorb at one time.

Yeah that's it...I mix two scoops with about 12 oz of skim milk and drink about 3 oz every hour or so through the day...at least I know I'm getting my Protein everyday

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
