My "go-to" when I'm tired of Water is Syntrax nectar protein- Fuzzy Navel and Strawbery Kiwi are my favs. If you add 12oz Water and lots of ice they aren't quite as sweet, the added bonus is getting a Protein boost.

Pre surgery loved Crystal Light and unsweetened iced tea, but I can barely drink them now.

Smart1997 Where do u get that from..... and you all will be proud i ffound a drink crystal light lemonade

I would go to syntrax's site http://www.si03.com/reg_index.htm and order a sample pack and see which ones you like. Then I buy the ginormous canister of the flavor I like on Amazon.com. I have an Amazon prime account so I get free two day shipping.

I like crystal light peach and mango or strawberry mio. The unsweetened ice tea from McDonald's is also good. Since small or large is $1 right now, I get large with 8 splenda and it lasts for a couple hours. Be careful about drinking too much crystal light or mio. If you drink it day after day for your liquid, the acid starts to build up and your throat feels like acid reflux (moderation should be ok). At least that is what happens to me. Therefore, I try and have a good variety of low cal or zero cal liquids when looking for 100+ oz of liquid a day.

Sure, take 12 ounce bag of vanilla coffee grinds and place in cheese cloth over a big tupperware or something u can out a cover on, then gradually add 6 cups of cold Water, make sure the grinds are covered in Water but still in the cheese cloth, cover with a lid and let it soak 12-15 hours. Then u can add ur favorite extract, I use vanilla lol and it's very vanilla. Use one tbsp or whatever u desire and add to the mixture after u strain the grinds. U may want to use another cheese cloth and restrain into a new bowl. (u can let it soak at room temp. , but refrigerate afterwards. Then to ice it I fill up a 20 ounce cup with one cup skim milk and 1/2 cup coffee mix, add my Splenda or sf Syrup and sip on my way to work. U can make any flavor u desire ;)

Sounds SO yummy, Susie. I loved coffee before being sleeved but I have only had a couple of sips so far. Do you use Decaf coffee? I have a Toddy maker ( a filtered pitcher for making coffee extracts) and I would love to try this and add vanilla Protein powder to it. Maybe once I start eating normal foods I will try some coffee again.

I use regular coffee, haven't tried it with Protein Powder but sounds like It would be delicious! It took me time to be able to take the acidity from coffee but now I'm ok with it. It replaces my soda that I do not miss ;)

I do kinda the same. I brew whatever flavor coffee i am feeling and put in fridge to cool and mix it with vanilla Protein powder and sometimes some skim, almond, or coconut milk. Poor over ice in my handy dandy drink bottle and go.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
