When I reached a weight goal before banding I would go and stuff myself at my favorite eatery.

This time I ordered myself barbells and a floatation belt to use in the pool while on vacation.

I would like to hear from others please.

My immediate goal right now is to reach the 50 pounds gone mark. When I do, I am going to get a new tattoo. When I reach goal, I am going on a cruise. I will have some mini goals in between 50 gone and goal, but have not decided what my rewards will be just yet.

I bought a Chanel purse (I've always wanted one) when I got to Twoterville. I'll need a big reward when I join the Century Club in a few lbs but I haven't decided what it is. My goal present will be a really nice watch -- maybe a classic Cartier. Whatever looks great on my teeninsey goal wrist!

My first goal reward is going to be a pedicure. After that, a new outfit. Not too sure after that.

I too used to Celebrate losing weight with food. Didn't make much sense even then, but I did it.

My first goal was to LOOSE, reward was new clothes, My second goal to loose 100lbs that will be a new suit, my next goal will be a tatoo also of an eagle because like the eagle it soars high and that is what I will continue to do.

My original plan was to reward myself with new music, one new (or used) CD for every pound.

*sigh* But since I can't lose weight, sort of pointless.

A longer life, hopefully being able to be around for our 50th wedding anniversary and to be able to see my grand-daughter graduate from high school to get married.

The biggest thing I did was spend a couple hundred dollars on having my engagement ring completely re-set. It was way too big so at the same time that I had it re-sized, which would have been cheap, I had the solitaire and enhancer (which had been welded together years ago) replaced by a beautiful custom setting.

Now that's too big too. :(

My personal goal for the 50 pound mark was to get some new work out clothes. :clap2:

My goal for the 100 pound mark is a new color 30gig Ipod to assist with all the miles I have been putting on the treadmill at the gym.:clap2:

Now my wife has other goals in mind for me which include shaving my head bald once I hit the 100 pound goal and leaving the goatee and mustache:eek:

I started off with some rewards...massage, pedicure, etc. I loved doing that!

Now, it just thrills me no end to dump those large clothes out of my closet!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
