What does it mean when you have a pain in your chest after eating that doesn't go away for awhile? Anyone ever experience this?

Usually eating too fast or taking too big of a bite will do it to me.

Ugh it's horrible, very uncomfortable. I ate a couple bites of noodles with cheese and I have a pain radiating from my throat to the end of my sternum and i'm nauseous.

I just had my surgery last Monday. If I even drink too much Water right now, it feels like I am going to have a heart attack.

I get that when I eat too fast. I know it's hard to slow down because we are all just looking to get back to a normal-ish lifestyle, but you have to slow down. I eat just a spoonful at a time and wait 5 min between because the pain is awful when you eat too fast.

No I didn't throw up but it wasn't fun. I think I ate too fast.

It could be what your eating as well? Are you usually ok with cheese and noodles? or does this happen regardless of what you eat?.

If I eat eggs or cooked fish, I get the same symptoms, so I avoid those foods for now.

Its not nice :(

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
