Why at 5 weeks out, all of a sudden, would I get nauseated? I haven't had that the whole time! And how in the world do you force yourself to eat when you feel this way? Nothing sounds good! Ugh!

Are you eating solid food? Or more solid food?

That’s can be hard I had to go back to softer mushie food because I couldn’t handle solids yet.

You might have to take it a little more easy, chew much much more and be slower.

Are you eating enough Protein? I get that way when I don't, even this far out. Could be a lack of Vitamins too. I know I had a problem with my Vitamin levels at one point because I was taking the wrong kind. I just can't remember if I was nauseated. You might call your Dr and ask if you need to come in or ask on your next appointment.

I've only been nauseous a few times and today is one. Sigh. Mainly they have happened when the food I ate was too dry (over-microwaved) and that wa in my 5th week, or when I ate too fast. Yours sounds like pre-food though. <br>

Nothing sounds good today to me. I may drink my Proteins today.

Hope yours doesn't last long.

Doctors office said it was completely normal...so I guess I won't worry! He also called in a prescription for nausea!! I am still not where I need to be with protein! I just can't stomach the shakes - I'm hoping that will pass!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
