I REALLY DOO LOVE HOW WE ALL HAVE POSITIVE VIBES AND ENCOURAGING WORDS!! THATS EXACTLYYYY WHAT I NEED SINCE I DONT HAVE THE SUPPORT I WISH I HAD... I HOPE I DO WELL POST OP AND CONTINUE HEARING THOSE AWESOME UPDATES... I AM FOLLIWING THRU MY SURGERY (aug 15th) HOWEVER, IT'S VERY SURREAL AND OVERWHELMING TO KNOW THAT MY LIFE WONT EVER BE THE SAME! AHHH SO SCARY JUST TALKING BOUT IT!! Good luck with your surgery, August 15th! When the pounds start to fall off, you will not miss the old life AT ALL! You will be free from the monster of food. I passed up birthday cake on my own birthday and didn't care! That was HUGE and definitely not something I would have EVER in my pre-surgery life. It's scary to think about before you are there, but so worth it after. You will do great!!

I wish I had found this forum sooner, but I didn't discover it until after my surgery. I feel like all of you are my "virtual family."

The surgery is one of the best things that has happened to me. I look at my profile pic (taken before surgery) and I want to barf. For god's sake, I was a B cup!

You are exactly right. Your life will never be the same. It will be so much better than you probably can imagine now. I know that's what I'm experiencing. Good luck to you in your journey!
