What are your fears?

Fear of surgery? Fear of complications? Fear of failure? Fear of changing your relationship with food? Fear of success (very real, btw)?

I don't know what Chub Rub is but I bet you're still tired of it and this is the best way to take care of it.

I was too. But i am glad i had my surgery on 6/18/12. I am still having issues with what i can eat, and problems keeping my Protein up, my energy level is still low, but i am 60 and i am losing 2 lbs a week. I have lost 28 lbs, i still think i feel better now, even with the issues i still have. Good luck with your surgery.

Think of the reasons you need to have the surgery: health, a longer life, better quality of life. I did that and realized I had no options.

Fear of changing my relationship with food. I am craving all of the subs and burgers I won't be having for so long and I am worried I am going be depressed because I cannot have it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
