Has anyone used the Bariatric Advantage sleeve kits?

Any feedback would be really helpful - bit daunted by all the Vitamin choices!!

I've had the Bariatic Advantage Multi-Vitamin and the Calcium. The multi-vitamin tasted horrendous to me. Could not take more than one and gave the bottle away. They are also expensive. The advantage to the multi-vitamin is that you only have to take one a day. My nutritionist suggested the Centrum Multivitamin or Flintstones childrens' Multivitamins.< /p>

I tried the Bariatric Advantage Vitamins before surgery and they were fine. Every time I have taken them after surgery I vomit. Not sure why I can't take them anymore.

costco has a great deal this week on gummies vitamins and Calcium.< /p>

I would not waste the money on the Bariatric Advantage chewable...I hardly used them! They all taste horrible, and always made me sick. I stopped using them after a week...lots of money down the drain!

I'm using Flintstones Complete chewables (my surgeon strongly recommends not yusinh "gummy" anything), Celebrate's cherry tart Calcium + Vit D, and Celebrate's cherry Vit B12 (it's a sublingual tablet). Those are the only supplements prescribed by my surgeon (for me).

My surgeon does not recommend Gummy Vitamins at all. Your best bet is a chewable designed for bariatric use. He says you want to have at least 200% percent of USDA requirements in your multi. I use Celebrate Chewable Multivitamin (mandarin orange); they cost 15.95 per month. That is not a lot of money considering your multi is the most important supplement.

Compare Flinstones side by side to Celebrate (free shipping from MedMarket.com).

I wouldn't get the Bariatric Advantage ones...I had to stop taking them because they were making me sick. They are really disgusting. Right now I'm taking Flintstones.

I just want to second the Celebrate multivitamin. I also take the mandarin orange one. It's not the tastiest thing ever, but it does the job and doesn't make me feel sick.

I asked my nut about gummies and she told me they are trying to find some with enough Iron.

I have tracked down some Vitamins called "Optisource" that you can get from walgreens. They are actually intended for post Bariatrics surgery patients. They are like $30 for a 30 day supply. You take 4 of these chewables a day. My wife has been taking them for a couple of weeks.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
