I was so excited when my doc said I could have crablegs (3Weeks after surgery) They did not come up but I did not enjoy them at all was so disappointed. My ensure came up today, maybe I drank too close to taking vitamins. Only got 3 swallows down. I've never had this to happen.

I originally felt the band was best until reports of them becoming embedded in the liver after becoming too loose. The number of fills of saline and such turned me off. The idea of the bypass does not appeal to me. Some insurance comp. will not cover the sleeve. I believe the vitamins and protein is the same for bypass and sleeve so some absorption is better than none.
My doctor and I agreed on the sleeve. I had a scare after a motor vehicle accident, they found a mass on my pancreas in August and thought I had pancreatic cancer. The workup showed no cancer and the pancreatic specialist told me it was okay to have the sleeve. I was delayed several months because I had rotator cuff surgery in February. My left cuff had a full-thickness tear . So I had the sleeve surgery April 28th and I am extremely pleased.
