Day 17- lost 22#, but have weighed the same for 7 days. Saw my surgeon yesterday and said I've just reached a plateau and it's expected. Can't wait to bust past this number! I was thrilled when he gave me the ok for my skinny vanilla latte! I feel like I got a small portion of myself back. Anyone else around the same post op days and experiencing the stall?

Sounds like we are on the same page!!! Good to know I'm not alone. I'm looking forward to getting back to work Monday and away from food in the house and stupid food commercials!

Omg me too back to work Monday! I just came back from Vegas for 3 days on business . That was hard ! My coworkers were eating everything ...but I did my puréed stuff and made it through just fine...no cravings either!! We can do this! And the scale will move very soon!!

Day 18 here & have been the same weight for 8-9 days now ! I'm starting to get nervous ! I told myself I wasn't going to weigh myself , but it's so dang hard when your a nurse & there's a scale in every room ! I guess this is the "dreaded 2-3 week post-op stall " I've read about in other threads !

Well ladies I guess the more we stress the more we hold on to it. Knowing we are all going through it is comforting. Let's all think positive thoughts and concentrate on the fat melting away.. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
