Yea! Good Doctor's visit on Thursday. Have to stay on liquids one extra week due to hiatal hernia repair during VSG. Weighed myself Friday (Week 2). Down another 7 lb. Celebrated with a Watermelon Margarita (margarita flavored Crystal Light and pure watermelon juice, plus I salted the rim!)

I'm in Dallas!!! My surgery is sept 25th

I'm in Weatherford Texas and I'm having my sleeve done Sep 24 at the Baylor Medicle Trophy Club. I'm getting pretty nervous any words of comfort or suggestions?

Advice: Learn to rely on the help of others. I'm a very independent person, but I can't imagine going through this without the support of my husband, son and many friends. I just keep telling myself how good I feel when I'm on the giving end. Also, take things slow. It gets better, but it's tough at first trying to get enough Protein and fluids in. I'm almost 3 weeks post-op and I'm seeing progress.

Encouragement: Youve made a great decision for a healthy future. There are a lot of great people on this website to keep you informed and motivated. Good luck! You'll be in my prayers.

I'm in Little Elm. I had surgery August 20,2012

I'm m Dallas off frankford n the tollway... yeah I'm outside now n it feels amazing

We are neighbors ;) I'm in the same neighborhood!

High I am in Mansfield and work by DFW. I am in my 4th month of the physician monitored diet hope to be sleeved after new years.. At least with that date my entire out of pocket will be met the first week of the year and if I have complications they will be covered at 100 percent

Prayers for TinaD. God send a routine surgery and a speady and uneventfull recovery. Try not to stress as it makes your tummy muscles tense.

Thank you Bmarion662 for your kind words and prayers. I really needed to hear them right now. I only have two days....times going fast. I start clear liquids tomorrow and fasting Mon. morning. Surgery at 1p.m. I truly appreciate your prayers.

Hi TinaD,

Who is your surgeon? I hope to have my surgery at Baylor Trophy Club in November with Dr. Kim. My last NUT visit is next Thursday, 9/27 and then we submit to insurance.

Best of luck with your surgery and let us know how everything goes!!!
