Abbreviation for Nutritionist

Thanks!

HAHAHAHAHA!! I didn't get it at first either, because I didn't encounter anyone that called themselves a nutritionist. The surgeon's PA is the one that dispenses our nutritional guidance, so I was like, "HUH??" NUT??"

But great question, took me a minute to figure out when I first saw it also. There are quite a few abbreviations on this site. Might not be to bad of a idea for a pinned wiki topic to explain each for a reference.

There actually is a pinned topic in this section of the boards. The Frequently Asked Questions topic covers the abbreviations used, how to add a ticket to your profile, and a ton of other great stuff.

Nut- nutritionist

PCP- primary care physician

PPI- proton pump inhibitor

Those three took me a little while to figure out lol! There is an old thread around that was actually a VST "dictionary" about all of our little shortcuts. You could search for it if you'd like, it was very humorous!
