Things You Can Never Have Again With Sleeve :(
I also highly believe this that everyone is different. As for spicy foods I not only still eat them but search out more intensely flavored food. Since the portion control will be there why not find healthy foods but with bold flavors. I never could see how some fancy restaurants have only a bite or two on the plate but now understand. Yes that could be a meal and a splendid experience. Finally, I used to be a pot a day coffee drinker and was told no more. I thought I would just go through surgery and sneak it in after. Yes I went through withdrawals and severe headaches without caffeine. But now I have not touched it since and have no cravings for coffee anymore. Hope this helped some for you.

Tip On When To Weight Yourself!
My best time is first thing in the morning, after exercise, then after two hour sauna, potty, strip bare, before any fluids or foods, spit and finally clip toe nails.

Coming Up On Yogurt Added To Menu - But I Hate It
Sugar Free jello, SF pudding are a couple. I used to hate it also till I found a flavor I liked. You might want to try plain doctored up or a flavored one.

September 4Th Sleevers, What Are You Doing Today ? What Did You Do The Day Before Surgery ?
So what is this for, first I heard of it? Guess my Doc does not require it.

Too Big For Wls?
Here is the bottom line that I looked at. Just how long does she think she will live at that weight. I am faced with my own mortality and explained to my doctor if I do not have it done I will die shortly. I was 505 at the time and with the surgery I would at least be trying and just may pull it off and live a long life. My Doctor and I were in complete agreement on the mortality issue. I hope she will get help and yes there are risks but what is the risk if nothing is done?

Has Anyone Tried Zero Carb Isopure?
Have you tried the chocolate flavor? If so, how was the taste? I see they have chocolate and Dutch chocolate. Also, I would be very interested in a review on the alpine punch flavor.

It's Labor Day And I Just Want A Beer!
Not to say I would recommend but before I quit drinking I always would have a stout or lager as a choice. I had grown tired of the strong carbonation in some and found lagers to be smooth not fizzy.

Sick Of It!
Hang in there, it will get easier. I had open heart surgery and spent the next 4 months in a recliner. For some reason every time I laid down it felt like I was chocking because of the pressure. But it did pass after my chest muscles healed. You to will heal and it will get better. I know you still hurt but look on the bright side. No changing or washing bed sheets for a while.

Labor Day Cookouts.
Well, our family and others always jet together for a big pool party every year. I am still doing the pre-op diet so have opted to stay home. My family understood and I am grateful for that. I just need to take out triggers that have always done me in. Anyways who else is going to a cookout this year for Labor day?

Day 17 Pre-Op Diet, 3Days Till Surgery.
Almost there and not really to bad today. Hit a hard spot at day 13, was extremely hungry but made it through. So only 3 days to go and the worrying is starting to kick in. I am a high risk for any surgery but either do this or I would be gone shortly anyways. More worried about my wife and family than myself though. Anyways, yes we can survive on protein shakes alone. Kind of weird huh? We do get hungry on this diet but it does lessen as you go along so for others do not give up.

Anyone Bigger Than Me ?
As the great "Fluffy" once said. There are biggens and people even bigger , then there are "Dang!!!" I am Dang! started at 505 but have 3 days till surgery.

Who Else Had To Do More Than 2 Weeks Pre-Op Diet?
Pessimist- Hit day 14 and this just sucks. Optimist- Oh well only 7 more days to go. Wish this was it but will have to wait it out. Anyone else have to do 3 weeks?

Day 13 Pre-Op And Having A Bad One Today.
Woke up today and all I keep thinking about is a pizza or steak. Come on already, I have been very strict and disciplined so far. Now I am trying to rationalize to cheat, what bull hockey pucks! Today is going to suck but have not quit yet. Just had to rant, sorry.

3Rd Day Post Op, 500Lber In Nj
Great job on the weight loss before surgery and now comes the rest of the journey. Yes, you can get way down there. Just set small goals and chip away till they add up to the total big loss. It can be done and I believe because I am in the same boat. Good luck and keep us posted.

What Happened To My Taste Buds! Day 12 Pre-Op Diet.
So doing alright on the pre-op diet and wake up this morning and get my protein drink the same taste. Then I do a unjury no flavor with powerade zero later today and bam! Yuck. Yuck. It tastes way to sweet and has a creamy texture. This can't be, I had planned on this as my go to drink after surgery but it is horrible now. What the heck happened.

What About Medications.
So I get the idea to have pills ground up or liquid form to get your medications. But, after reading many posts on people a day or two after surgery just having a hard time swallowing a sip of water. How am I going to get my heart meds the first few days? I have multiple meds.

Unjury- Soup?!?!
Had the same problem. I had barley brought the Water to a simmer and it was to hot I guess. The clump refused to mix and it was like a instant rubber ball. Yuck! How do you mix with broth? If I use anything hotter than tap hot water I get this problem.
