The Dreaded Stall!

So pretty much have been cruising through this with losing about a pound to apound an half per day. Then wham for the last week not one ounce loss. I kept reading about stalls but figured it could not happen to me or at least for awhile. Still debating as to wether to change up some part of my eating habit ( 800-900 cals, 40 carbs, 30 fat, 100 protein daily average amounts). Or should I just keep doing as this and wait it out?

I had a nurse tell me that when this happens to just keep doing what I am doing...and to remember that your body has been thru a traumatic experience and is reacting in a"wth" mode adjusting to all the new experiences it is having. I am 6 weeks out from surgery and yes I have experienced this...just be patient and stay on course.

I was the same way. I finally had my husband hide the scale and I am just weighing once a week. I like seeing more of a loss each time I step on it now:)

Last time I had a stall I lost nothing for 2 weeks and then lost 4 pounds overnight. go figure!

stalls suck!
