Average Hospital Stay

I had my surgery yesterday morning and was supposed to go home today. They say I'm "borderline dehydrated" so I'll have to stay until tomorrow. That part confuses me though because I've been on nonstop fluids, drinking 1oz or more every 15 minutes, and my pee is practically clear! (sorry if tmi) my dad thinks they're milking the fact I've got two private insurances paying for all this. I just want to get home to my baby. How long were you in hospital??

Only 24 hours...thank goodness! Hopefully you can go home soon!

I also had my surgery yesterday morning. I will be staying another night as well. The doctor said my heart rate was too high to go home. I hope you and I both get to go home tomorrow!

In weds at 11am out thurs at 9pm, I was slow coming out of recovery almost 8 hours

I was in and out in less than 24 hours, but I didn't have any complications. I was given the option to stay another night if i wanted to, but I also wanted to get home to my babies!! :)

I know it's hard to be away from your little one. But, it is also hard when you are home because you will really want to pick them up - but you can't!

A healthy mom is coming soon! Congrats on your sleeve!

I had complications and had to stay 4 days.

I was out within 24 hours of recovery.

48 hours for me. I was hooked up to an IV for 47 1/2 hrs of that. Guess they do things differently in Mexico.

I stayed 2 nights & was released 1st thing in the morning after the 2nd night.

I was in for 3 days/nights.

Only one night for me.

I was in 2 nights. I had issues with pain control. I think it was finally under control as, when the doctor came in to see me about 7:30 pm on Wednesday, I was 100% convinced it was Thursday morning. He told me I was staying the night (my 2nd night) again. I had planned to anyway due to pain issues but my drugged up state secured that. :-)

I had my surgery at 11am Thurs and was discharged at 0800am Friday. So less than 24h.

Mine was at 10 am on a Tuesday and I was released on Thursday afternoon. No complications.

3 days for me but I was having problems drinking even an ounce of water. They suggested I stay longer but I just wanted to get home.

I stayed one night. It was the weekend so I had to beg to go home.
