What Are You Guying Eating At 2 Months

Recommended Posts

I'm 2 months out on June 27. I'm running out if ideas of what to eat next. Do u guys have a website or something that I can refer to as far as what to eat at what stage? For example when can I eat peanuts, lettuce, etc. All I've been eating us like Beans, lentils, baby shrimps n I've tried imitation crab with clamato. Any ideas would help. Thanks

Eat yogurts, sf pudding, sf jellos, Soups, go to emilybites and check out her lasagna cupcakes, etc. She has some really tasty stuff you can use for your self. My family loves them too. ;)

At two months out, I can have whatever I want. In fact, tonight I made steak for fathers day and ate about 3 oz of it. Its the first red meat I have had since surgery. No problems here.

Really steak? I thought that's was til like 3 months. Thanks for tips. I make lots of food for my daughter n niece like hot dogs but I miss it myself. All I have is juices, n Protein Shakes and it can get boring.

ANYTHING I WANT. Much smaller amounts, and healthier ingredients when I can.... but I am a food lover and I will always be. I enjoy variation and quality not quantity. Open yourself up a bit.... you have to live with this sleeve for the rest of your life. If you get too tired of the mundane you may find yourself rebelling in a very bad way later. That's just my rational. Try the healthier versions of foods you loved before.

I'm almost 2 months out and I eat pretty good variety. I always focus on Protein first, but I still stay away from beef. They told me for one year, but I might try it out by 6 months!!

I am loving turkey. They have ground turkey already seasoned for tacos!!

Yum

Rosikah-I wouldn't worry, everybody is different. I'm 2months post-op too and I've lost about 38lbs. I plateau or teeter totter for a few days but I still loose weight after that. Just hang in there and don't lose hope :)

I'm irritated that my diet is so restrictive, but many others have the green light for so many foods my NUT says are off limits! What gives?

Almost 2 months and realised that I can eat almost anything.

Noticed that I had a pre-op habit of drinking Water while eating, and also noticed that I am unable to eat and drink at the same time post-op.

I just get heartburn and heaps of acid reflux (not sure if their the same thing) if I were to eat and drink together. Actually I also get acid reflux even when I'm not eating... but that's a separate issue all together.

So ... as long as I remind myself not to drink while I eat .... almost anything goes down well.... just in smaller portions. Also learnt to put my utensils down while chewing, cos it takes longer to chew now... and hold the utensils makes me wanna put more food in my mouth. Once I'm done, I take small sips of Water. Water after the meal still produces the bloated feeling, but it's a habit I'm trying to break or at least cut down.

it all really depends on your pre op and how your surgeon performed your surgery. what does your suture line require. Some suture lines are stronger than others therefore diets vary.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
