Wow...I wonder if it is more of a heAd hunger. Are you eating solid Proteins, they should keep you full for longer, also have you tried little miss divas boot camp. I would talk to your therapist and nutritionist.

Are you taking a PPI (nexium, prilosec, omeprazole)? I have trouble distinguishing my thrist from my hunger so I try to get some fluids down ASAP. I wake up every morning with some dehydration. You may be having gas which can make you feel like your hungry. If your not taking a PPI, then ask your surgeon if you can take a PPI. They are sold over the counter at pharmacies and drug stores. Increase your Water intake to help loose weight. ;)

Wow, that's great weight loss. I do not wake up in the middle of the night bu tin the morning I am hungry, time for a Protein Shake and coffee. Then mid morning I will have an egg or something. Maybe just keep a shake in the fridge ready to drink that way not to many calories and its good for you.

I had surgery on 3/2/12... Was at 256, now down to 212, I can't break my stall. But I know it's because I am eating too much. Once my food goes down, and I dont have that full feeling anymore, I find myself grabbing something else to eat because I feel hungry. I tried to drink more Water, but it doesn't seem to help. I feel like all I think about ALL DAY LONG is food! :-(

Due to complications I was first sleeved in March of 2012 then 3 months later I had to have the bypass done. It's was rough healing wise but looking back, well worth it. With the sleeve I wasn't able to keep any thing down, throwing up constantly to the point I developed a hernia smh. Is been a long hard road but I'm better for it. Start weight 230, current weight 125. From a size 18 in plus to a 5 in juniors, I'm soo not complaining. The first 6 months of this journey had me feeling like I made a major mistake, I was miserable and depressed. But when I began to feel better I started to notice positive results and that motivates me to stay in the gym, and eat right. Still working on taking in more Protein, since now I'm working on toning and adding 10 pounds of pure muscle lol.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
