Welcome to the Club 503-250!!

Its that easy! What we usually like is for people to tell us a bit about themselves and if you look on the first page you'll see the list of members and their stats by their name. If you want your stats on there, just include them in your post and I'll put them on there for ya.

Once a week, on Wednesdays, we all report our current weight and then the person in charge of updates for that month will edit the stats.

So glad you joined!

I'm not going to be able to do weekly weightins currently, being my size there aren't many scales available for usage. Appearently only those truck scales on the side of the highway, industrial laundry and me need scales that large.

I was weighed in today tho. I am currently 456 down from 503. If there is a better format for this please be gentle when you spank me to correct me...and I prefer Telly does the spanking since she has that look in her eye. Just don't tell my wife...LOL

503... I started at 393 and couldn't find a scale that would weigh me. Someone on here suggested an ebay store they got theirs from. The scale I bought for $35 goes up to 440#'s and they also have scales that go up to 550#'s. Their stores site is www.OLDWILLKNOTT.com and the scale is very accurate. It was right on with my doctors scale.

Welcome to GFG Club! *HUG*

I did a 9 mile walk/jog and almost died. I swear I will never do that again, on my own..especially with an uncharged iPod. It died on me on the way back. Family and friends..waving at me as they pass me by and my husband, so sweet, he brought me freshly cold Water somewhere around mile 5 and I'm dying in the heat and no music to get me pumped to go home. I didn't have the guts to say, "take me home".

I lost 6lbs doing it...yay! Guess where that puts me? It's temporary folks. Very temporary. Give me a few hours.. lol. it will come back.

Awww.. 503, you dont have to weigh in at all if you dont want. Some do, some dont. The idea of this club was to bring some folks together that wanted a closer community of friends who believe the band does work if we work it and that we can keep the weight off. We wanted the club to be what each member needed for their own journey, not a competition or one person's personal thread. So.. now that you've joined, take what ya need, give what ya can.. but above all know that we are all in this together and you can count on an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, and friends around you to help hold ya up. :P

That.. is the Gone for Good Club! :D

PS - And we also have our secret weapon.. Telly *winks*

I was banded on 12/6/06 and I have since had 4 fills. I am at 8.5cc in the VG band which I was informed today holds 10cc, but can be overfilled...not what I wanted to hear.

I am hoping this fill yields alot of restriction and foaming and sliming and PBing and anything else that lets me know it's working.

I will add that we do a competition sometimes, but that it is monthly, and just for some fun. that is not what this group is centered around though. there are just monthly challenges within the Gone for Good group as a whole.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
