Gas Pains! Killing Me. Anyone Else?

Hey guys. I'm 5 days post op, and I am having a lot of pain in my belly and Incision sites, but by far the most painful part is the gas pain in my belly! Is anyone else having these? They make me hiccup and it feels like its ripping my stomach apart! Ugh help!

Try a heating pad, it worked wonders for me. Hang in there, it all gets better. You'll do great.

walk walk walk and walk somemore :) good luck

I rub my belly all the time- just relaxing and helps with gas!!

Gas pain was worse than the incision pain! It does eventually go away. For me walking and Gas-X did not provide much relief, but By day 8 I was feeling better. Hang in there.
