Awwe, give Mr. Yoda a big hug from me, and hug yourself too.....(?). Sorry that didnt make alot of sense. Hopefully now she's on blood thinners, she'll be good. Stressful for you and Mr. Yoda, though, especially when there's a distance. Thats gotta suck. Will you be going back down to visit? Take care, give yourself a break!

Sorry for your troubles Yoda. My dtr in law had a blood clot in her lung after she was on bedrest with the twins. she too was on blood thinners for 6 months. it is a very scary and dangerous situation. I'm glad that it was caught in time for your mom in law. Sounds like the docs are taking good care of your mominlaw.

Thanks guys; appreciate the good thoughts.

Cloe: you made Mr Yoda's day....all he can say now is, "Cloe hugged me"....and does a lil' dance! It really doesn't take much to please him, does it?!!! He says it is because he is "starved for affection" WHATEVER!!!!!!! I don't THINK SO!!!!! (he will be NOW!).

Oops, I think I did the thing where I post something, but it's all in my head! I meant to send my condolences too and wish Mr. Yoda's mama a speedy recovery! Here it is :) and give him a hug from me too ;) ;)

Prayers are winging your way Yoda. Hope Mr Yoda is doing better after seeing his mom. Tough on everyone.

Thinking of you.

Roxanne

Agh Yoda, you're a softy. Mr Yoda will get even more affection now that he's told you how starved he is!

Hugs to Mr Yoda and Mr Yoda's mom and you!

Thanks Cloe....I have a doc. appt with the specialist (endocrinologist) tomorrow...he is the one who really went to bat for me and recommended me for the surgery etc.....(long story) and he put his reputation on the line for me (& a few others).....so I reallllllllllllllllllllllly wanted to be able to sincerely tell him that I've lost SIXTY pounds (just sounds better than saying 59!)....and now I will be able to do just that!! It's important to me that he see that what he did was a good thing and NOT all for nothing!!! So I am excited to see him tomorrow and tell him.

Yoda, I'm happy your mom in law is coming home. Congrats on your self restraint too. Let us know how the endocrinologist reacts to the new u!

All of this is good pre-Christmas news. Good for you and the rest of the Yodas.
