I agree with you Wheezy.....I spent some time several yrs ago around Digby and NOTHING beats those Digby scallops!!!!!!!!!!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

:hungry: :hungry: :hungry:

interesting... I don't know where Digby is, but if I'm ever there, I'll make sure to try their scallops!

Hey Wheezy... do you think you'd be able to do raw oysters anymore?

Yep, I'm pretty sure that they are still alive. I think that they are toxic once they've died but are still raw.

ewww... I'm glad I never had a real fresh oyster then!

Interesting, never really thought about it. Maybe if I cut it up in tiny bite sizes I may be able to. May look kinda weird, they are usually swallowed whole. I will let ya know the next time we vacation on the ocean. We (my husband and I) never eat them unless they are caught fresh.

Okay, so yet once again, the dang TOM has snuck up on me and like I've read about others on LBT, I seem to be able to (& want to!) eat a whole entire caribou.

Well, okay, mebbe not a caribou (although it is quite yummy) but almost anything else....especially if it is carby!!!

I've been fighting off the gremlins all day yesterday and today :hungry: ....and I must admit...not winning most of the battles. Why oh why does my band let it go thru during this time?! Grrrrr.

Yeah, Yeah, I'm tryin' to think positive......on a happier note.....pre-band I would have been able to eat the whole caribou, now I can only eat it's hind quarters (although that is still too much!). So I know I should count my blessings.

Case in point....I bought fudge at a craft sale on the weekend....pre-band days I would have been lucky if it lasted until I got home, let alone a day. Whereas, it is still sitting in my fridge only half gone (& this is sharing with Mr Yoda). Don't get me wrong...>I WANT IT SO BAD right now I'm willing to cut my arm off for it!!! But I'm trying sooooooo hard to ignore it.

Part of the problem is that I'm at home and not work (feeling too ill) and so all the temptations are there.

And on a more happier note.....hehe....the silver lining is that when I weighed myself on Sat (the only day I weigh) I lost 2 lbs BUT in actuality I probably lost more since I'm likely retaining and bloated.....so now I'm actually looking forward to weigh day next Sat (hmmmm, although if I continue to lose the battle with the gremlins this week it will be a moot point!).

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Okay, I feel better now.

Kinda. Sorta.

:phanvan

Congratulations on the weight loss, Yoda, and don't eat that caribou (or the fudge)!!!

Step Away From The Fridge. Keep Your Hands Where We Can See Them! Leave The Fudge Alone And Nobody Gets Hurt.

Yoda you are doing great with your weightloss .You can always have a little piece if the temptations too much. Tommorrow is another day.

You wanna know what I did? I bought one of those packs ready to go in the over, Pillsbury cookie dough... the kind you don't even have to slice.. they're in perfect little cookie sized blobs. The most I've ever had at once was 2, and they've been in my fridge for probably a month! Probably only cause I forget about them, since I put them in the crisper. My point is... I too would have normally eaten those in an evening.... I probably would have just bought the tube, so I could have just eaten it that way. :omg: That's my confession.

Oh yeah... LOL...congrats on the loss and possible loss of even more, Yoda!! and yes, stay away from the caribou!

Well my weakness is Ben& Jerry's icecream. It is soooo good. I used to say that I am having Ben and Jerry over for dinner. No one knew that Ben and Jerry were the dinner. lol

Yasmina:hungry:

Yoda, WTG on your weight-loss, good going girl!!!!!! Now, CARIBOU????? I had to read your post over and over, call me slow...............nevermind, don't call me slow, I didn't get it. But alas, I understand the fudge part!!

You were so good to confess................so I'm gonna too!! okay, since this shit with my kid, I havebeendoing...........................McFlurrys,ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I'm over it now, the fill helped me to focus back on me, me, me!!!

I think Americans get so hungry they could eat a horse... and WE get so hungry we could eat a caribou! LOL
