That is strsange as I just came from a defill at the thunder Bay Laser Clinic on Victoria ave.... :ohmy:

I have reached goal and really want a TT. I did meet with A Dr in May at the clinic I was babded at , but for some reason they say they have not finalized things with that dr.... ???? I am looking to find a dr who is good that would do this. I do feel fustrated at the clinic as I feel they wasted my time. Why has an apt especially when I am out of town if I can't book a surgery, or even find out a price !!!!:biggrin:

I lost 130 lbs and while a lot has shrunk back, some still has not. I want a tummy tuck but on my first consult they also showed me what they can do by going all around to lift my but and tighten the skin on my legs.... ohhhhhhhhh I liked the way that looked...not really sure what I willdo, but I will not rush into anything.

Well I just think people should know all the good as well as the not so good they know what they are in for. Knowledge is a good thing.:blushing:

I just had my port fixed at a clinic and it went really well except for when I woke up the next morning I was covered in blood. I had blood thinners..... when I posted this on their support site it was removed and I was told i was not to talk about medical ..... Well, I was not causeing blame, or complaining, actually just the opposite , I said it went well, but it would have been nice to know before that it could have happened.What is the point in sharing if you can't share ALL the infomation.

well it took me about a year to lose 50lbs and another 30 the next year. The last little bit seemed a lot easier once a met wth the people at TLBC and we discusses my food needs and what I was lacking. Now that I an gtting more protein the weight seems to be coming off much easier. This changed my life ,how I look at food and handle stress.I can no longer go out with friends for a plate of nachos and a beer. But 2 or three nachoes and a glass of wine works jut fin and still provides me with what I need......Chocolate, well that is a different story ...lol:blush:

Thanks guys, and congrats on your own success as well ! The last 30 lbs kind of sunck up on me and then boom I jumped on the scale and was down 25.. weird as I was celebrating every 10lbs, and boy it took a while.... now I really need to do some weights !!!:biggrin:

:biggrin: WOW it had beed 2 1/2 years since I was banded and I am 2olbs from goal. It has been a slow road, slower then most but I am so close now it is exciting !!!!

I love my band, and can't say enough good things about it. So far I have lost 85 lbs. I have been slow to lose, may fault as I wiuld eat more ice cream then I should and add to much fat to things. I did get a meeting at TLBC with the nutritionist who gave me a great diet of things I should have and how much and things I should avoid. Since then I have lost 21lbs , and that was in April. I and now doing more exercies, and things are going good. When I do have stress, I get tight really tight.. oh well, what can you do:rolleyes2:

Congrats on the 100lbs loss ! That is wonderful ! That is what I an working towards. I also love my band :smile2: and if I had to do it over would do it in a heart beat. For me I have to fly to Toronto for all fills and really don't have the opportunity to attend boot camps and support sessions. I would love to be part of that ! I sometimes can't believe that I finally have the band...it is exciting, I have never felt or looked so good !

I go to Toronto tomorrow, so I am wondering if I should get a 1/4 defill or not ? sometimes I am so tight and other day I am ok !:biggrin::smile2:

I di notice morning and late at night ard harder for me. What is so weird is that thick soup not that good today, but 2 shortbread cookies (95% butter, no problem AHHHHHHHH )

I quess I have been just lucky, but they have so far always got back to me the same day or the next morning. Nancy and Jill have been great ! :smile2:

It was pretty good ! I must admit I really liked some of the soup recipies on that site... pumpkin sausage soupwas really good... I did make it light... skipped the sour cream and the cream, used milk instead. I had a fill three weeks ago and it is so weird, sometimes I have trouble drinking water wihil other times I am fine to eat food... I am going to Toronto on Thursday and talk to them about a possible 1/4 cc defill...

I travel back anf forth from Thunder bay for fills and boy do I wish I had the DVD! There was a Dr that did have one but he will not do it. I had a fill about 2 weeks ago, everything was go until I came back and boom too tight. Horrible could barely drink water. Now that I changed my plane ticket and I am going to Toronto, Things seem better. I was able to eat a little last night. I will ask for a dvd when I am there on Thursday...Nancy fron TLBC gave me some good advice

I had a fill - 1/2 cc and everything was good for a few days and as soon as I was back in my own city bang ! could not eat solid foos and only small amounts of liquid. I had to be so careful. So I changed my ticket to go to N>S so I could stop in Toronto for a small defill . Well last noght I was able to eat a small dinner !!! So weird, Hope ypu are feeling better soon, I know when I get stresed by band is sooo tight, I can only do liquids
