When Did Your Stomach Stop Hurting

Recommended Posts

Seems like every other time i have a "meal" my stomach hurts when i take a small bite or a few seconds after the bite. Tomorrow i will be two weeks out and can start pureed foods. So I'm on yogurt blended cottage cheese, Soup, Water.. you get it.

Did it take anyone else a while before they stopped hurting during meals. I'm starting to think I'm never going to be able to eat without being in discomfort. :(

I feel your pain im almost two weeks out and thats how i felt for the first few days. Although it takes longer i would suggest taking about 3-5 mins between bites. That really helped me, you might just be going to fast. Hope that helps, best of luck. [=

Honestly, my stomach didn't hurt at all because I was so afraid to eat that I really didn't.

My suggestion would be to stay on liquids for another few days. Eat slower and extend your meal time. Like Dandra suggested, the slower we eat the happier our sleeves will be.

It will eventually get normal and you'll be able to identify your sleeve's signals.

The same 3-4 weeks. It felt like stomach spasm/cramps when I ate any thing and sometime when I would drink also. It ati does occasionally when I eat like HOT Soup and I'm almost 4 mo out.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
