French onion Soup, minus: onions, cheese & croutons.

I strained Campbell's veggie beef soup. It was yummy.

Try Greek yogurt-no added sugar no fruit. You can also try jello or pudding with some protein powder mixed in, for example, chocolate protein powder in chocolate pudding.

At 8 days post I was eating the seasoning packets from Ramon Noodle soup, and Protein drinks. I tried to strain a chicken noodle soup and it hit my intestinal track hard! So I backed off to more of the bouillon-world.

SF Jello saved me! :-D

Good luck!

It depends on your doctor's guidelines. I was sleeved on 5/14 and have to be on clear liquids for 2 weeks - so until Monday. I can't add creamy soups & pudding & protein shakes. However, if you are on full liquids already, then tomato soup & other creamy soups without chunks of things, and SF pudding are okay - at least according to my guidelines. Every doctor is different though.

I started with yogurt and SF pudding and nice warm chicken broth... oh, man, that was the best stuff ever. LOL

I had my sleeve on may 15th I am eating mashed potatoes have to be real!!! And scrabbled eggs! Makes me feel great and gives me energy! However I haven't had any shakes! I have water, and gateraid

Beef broth (15g protein) from my docs office oh and SF popsicles no Protein, only 15 cals)

keepin it real ;)

I was sleeved the 15th and have to be on full liquids for 3 weeks. I have been living off of shakes, pudding and mashed potatoes.. Can not stand broth!!! I am half way thru my 3 weeks but I want FOOD!!!!! :-(

I was also sleeved 5/17! I'm having very thin mashed potatoes, cream soups thinned & blended with broth, Unjury chicken broth and that's about it so far and ricotta cheese w/low sugar marinara and topped with parmesan cheese and then microwaved. Got that one on here! Anyway - I am over everything being so sweet, too!

OMG!! My VGS was 05/15... Can not stretch how sick n tired I'm of liquid... This is hard!! Soups doesn't taste right... Jell-o are just too sweet... Shake I'm done with shakes... I'm so full of gas!! &&& not to mantion my belly itch like there is no tomorrow... Idk know what to do for the next 6 days before I get to see the doctor. :(...

But the good news is I'm (23lbs down since surgery)... I guess dats what keeps me going!!!

I tried mashed potatoes today....omg soooooo yummy,a few bites and i was stuffed..i love it!!!

Sleeved on May 3rd. Have been living on chicken nuggets and fish sticks(only 1 or 2 at a time) since week 3. Doctor said if I can stomach it then it was fine. He said the carbs from the breading would help give me some energy. I have always been a die hard no carb person, but I have found I really need some after surgery. I have tried some jerky too, cut it up small and chew well.

I can't stomach the shakes after surgery for some reason. I tried a few different kinds.
