Sleeved on May 28th and I am loving it 8 days in. Have lost a bit over 30lbs (16kilos) since I started the pre op diet on May 14th. A bit overwhelmed with it all actually! Very please to have found this website as I think my family are getting bored with me talking about it but it is dominating my thoughts most of the day!

Sleeved May 25th and down 11lbs. A but slow but I was 205 when I went in for surgery. Being in Onederland after so many years feels wonderful. Not taking diabetes medication and eliminating my sleep apnea feels even better!

Yes I am following the stages of the post op diet. First week - Clear Liquids, second week - add full liquids and yogurt, third week - puréed foods. That is where I am now, soft foods chewing a lot or I purée the food. I am also still doing full liquids. Eating 3 times a day plus 2 Snacks, getting in 800 cals a day, 60-80 grams of Protein, walking everyday and getting in 60-70 oz of Water. Carbs are under 60 a day. Stalled weight loss for 2 weeks. Pre op diet start weight 214, right before surgery 198, now and for the last two weeks I am on hold at 185 (it varies depending on the scale).

My Surgery may 14th starting weight 272. I had a 3 week stall but I weighed today and 23 down. So hopefully I've broke my stall.

Sleeved 5/21 - just over two weeks out. Finally starting to get some energy back after a complicated surgery week with multiple blood transfusions - and another week at home of profuse bleeding from an incision (which was blood I had already bled - Dr. assured me not to worry after a trip back to the hospital).

14 days ago I stepped on the scale during one of my walking circuits at the hospital and was up 20 more lbs than my surgery day (294 up from 274) - this morning the scale at home read 260 :) Kinda crazy to see it 34 lbs. less - but ahh how much blood and Fluid weighs - I was like a plump tick as my husband likes to say haha.

I think I am one of those slow healers for sure.

Hi to all the May Sleevers - I was sleeved on 5-23 and as of today, I've lost 21 lbs! I just love that my son and hubs can eat pizza and wings, and I do not even want any of it. I love my sleeve!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
